Use the Windows system tray

Find Dictāta in the Windows system tray and use quick controls without opening the main app.

Where to find it

On Windows, Dictāta appears in the system tray at the bottom-right corner near the clock.

You may need to click the arrow to expand hidden icons.

Start / Stop Recording
Ask Dictāta: opens your recent Ask Dictāta conversations and New conversation
Hide / Show Floating Button
Reset button to default position
Launch at startup
View History
Open Settings
Microphone Settings
Contact Support
Restart Dictāta
Sign Out
Exit

If the floating button moved outside the visible screen or into an inconvenient position, use Reset button to default position from the system tray.
