Download and install

Download Dictāta from the official website and open the .dmg file.

Drag Dictāta into your Applications folder.
Launch Dictāta from Applications.
Sign in with your email code or Google account.

Open the dictata-latest.dmg file from your downloads.

“Dictata” is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?

Apple checked it for malicious software and none was detected.

Confirm

macOS asks if you want to open an app downloaded from the Internet. Click Open.

Install

Drag and drop Dictāta into your Applications folder.

Launch

Open Dictāta from Applications or Launchpad.

First-launch warning

macOS may show a warning that the app was downloaded from the internet on first launch.

Open System Settings -> Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway.
