Yes. Once added as a keyboard, Dictāta works in supported text fields across Messages, Mail, Notes, Safari, and other apps that use the standard iOS keyboard.

iOS requires every third-party keyboard to request Full Access before it can use the internet — Apple mandates this for any keyboard extension with AI or cloud features. We use it only to send your dictation to our GDPR-aware cloud service for transcription and AI actions.

Dictāta sends your audio to our GDPR-aware cloud service to generate your transcript, then discards it. Audio and generated text are not stored as training data.

Yes. Choose the language you want to write in, and Dictāta can turn speech in one language into polished text in another before inserting it.

No. Dictation and AI actions on iPhone require an internet connection, since processing runs through Dictāta's cloud service.

Tap "Try in TestFlight" to open the public TestFlight link. If Apple's TestFlight app isn't installed yet, Apple will prompt you to install it first — then you can install the Dictāta beta from there.
